Bear starts his show career with a big BANG!   And is following in his sire's footsteps.

Because of my recent cancer and subsequant hysterectomy, my surgeon would not let me drive 2,200
miles round trip to go to our Boston Terrier Club of America National Show
held the week of 4-20 to 25, 2009, in Southbury, CT.  

So I entered my first weekend of shows since my surgery, close to home here in Fond du Lac, WI.  
Bear was 8 months and 2 days of age in his first show and will be shown in the Bred By Exhibitor Class.

Bear starts his show career winning back to back Best of Breeds
under Judge Luc Boileau and Judge Wiliam Usherwood
at the Fond du Lac County Kennel Club Shows.
This was Bears first shows and he won a 3 point Major both days.  
It was my first time back in the ring after being diagnosed and treated for Breast Cancer.
Here are 2 short videos of Bear as I'm teaching him to Fetch a toy.  He now brings it back to me the majority of the time.

Below are some photos of Bear with my granddaughter Sophia, who at the time was 28 months old.  She is trying to throw Bears toys so
he can retrieve them.  But they are a bit to heavy for her to throw.  But she had fun trying.
The above photos were taken of Bear and I at the Minnesota Boston Terrier Specialty Show in June of 2009.
Bear is quit a snuggle bunny in bed at night.  He loves to be under the covers snuggled up tight!

Bear now has his own 7 year old little girl to love.  Savannah and her Mother Jesse fell in love
with Bear and he now resides with them in Minnesota.
