| I started to wean the puppies at 4 weeks of age. They are doing very well lapping up a mixture of Esbilac (Puppy Replacer Milk), Gerber Baby Beef Meat and Pro Plan Selects, Turkey & Barley Puppy food that has been pulverized in my coffee grinder. For the next few days they will only nurse once at bedtime. By next week they will no longer be nursing at all. They are quite active now and try to push each other over and bite on each other while playing. So I have moved them into a slightly larger area made by using a Super Yard XT. I have pooch Pads on the floor with their litter box, which is now larger too. All bedding and Pooch Pads are changed daily as they are still not 100% litter trained. |
We have in-floor heat so the puppies are staying nice and warm.
This is during playtime while the puppies are free to run around on the floor in my office area.
