Hi Sue:
Everyone had a long day and a good night yesterday. I always feed Bos and Oliver in separate rooms and they
are bit slow at eating so I have decided just to crate Sophia for feeding time and until the boys are done. That
just removes any tension that might arise.
Oliver slept with Rick in our other bedroom last night and Sophia and Bosworth slept with me. No issues. Bos
has not had much of a reaction as anticipated. Oliver seems to be enjoying the fact that she is here but is not
as preoccupied with her as I would have expected! Although they are playing now!
We plan to take everyone for a long walk now and give baths later. I generally blow dry the boys when we are
finished and thought I would ask if Sophia is afraid of the hair dryer. If you pick this message up this afternoon
let me know.
We are finding Sophia to be absolutely delightful. She is very sweet.

Hi Sue:
It was too hot to walk this afternoon so we amused ourselves with play and quality time indoors. This afternoon
I gave everyone a bath with the shampoo you provided and a brief brushing and after dinner we went for a walk
around the block. Bosworth and Sophia then took turns sounding the alert as neighbors left their BBQ's. It was
actually pretty cute.
Talk to you later.

Hi Sue:
Just wanted to drop you a brief note and let you know that Sophia is doing well. We had a good week last week
and have resumed our normal routine. Sophia seems to be adapting fine. She met the pet sitter and is having
daily walks mid-day with the boys and again in the evenings when we get home.
Sophia and Oliver are playing well together most of the time. However Rick did tell me that when he gave
everyone a rawhide chew last week Sophia rounded up all of them and proceeded to lay on top of two while she
chewed on third :) Apparently Olivier looked really hurt and confounded as to how this could happen :) Pretty
funny. Rick evened things out eventually but she tends to rule over the boys.
I gave her a dose of the Interceptor but had to give her half of the 26-50lb range because I forgot I did not have
the appropriate dosage. I hope that is okay. I have to take her to my vet to get the appropriate dosage as they
will not distribute without a check-up and well I did not want to wait. The vet I like and trust is Dr. Bloss. She is
very good but only part-time so it might take 1-2 weeks to get an appointment.
Oh and one more thing she does not mind teeth brushing at all. She is a pro :). I think she really enjoys the
beef flavored toothpaste. I did think of one question...do you have your adult's eyes CERFed every two years
or so? I have been thinking about doing that with the boys. Please let me know your thoughts.
Hope you are enjoying the beautiful weather and all of the puppies are well.

Hi Sue:
We just finished transitioning Sophia to Karma and she seems to be doing well on it. I think we were feeding
her too much based on a measuring cup that was not very accurate. I have since switched to a different cup
and hope that she has not gained too much from the first two weeks here.
Congratulations on your wins at the show this weekend. It must feel really great to have so many wonderful
dogs...beautiful in both looks and temperament. I saw a picture of Ali on your website. She is very lovely. I
hope to get a digital camera soon so I can take many pictures of the boys and Sophia together and share them
with you.
Thanks for your help.
