Hi Sue!
It's always great getting emails from you. As I write this, Charley is sound asleep on my
lap.....such a mamma's boy!! But you are right, he IS growing like a weed, and soon it will be
difficult fitting him on my lap at all. Like I said, Charley has been an absolute dream come true
for me.
I would be honored to write something up for you to post on your web page. Please feel free
to use the following:
I had been looking for a credible boston terrier breeder for many many months. All we seemed
to come up with were back yard breeders and puppy mills - mainly people looking to make a
quick dollar and not caring much about the animals they exploited in the process. The whole
ordeal was extremely disappointing. I finally came across Sue and Lou LeCalsey just as I was
beginning to give up hope of ever finding a reputable breeder. I called up Sue not knowing
what to expect. Within just 5 minutes of talking with her for the first time, I felt an immediate
connection and knew I HAD to get one of her dogs. She talked about the quality and pride she
takes in her dogs, which is made evident through her strict pedigrees and health testing. I was
absolutely ecstatic to have finally found someone that cared about the animals they were
producing. I decided then that it was her who I would get a dog from, regardless of how long it
took for her to have a puppy available.
As it turned out, two of her females had recently had litters and she had some puppies looking
for a home. She sent me pictures of them all and I IMMEDIATELY fell in love with little Charley.
He looked just like the Boston Terrier I had adopted as a young teenager. What can I say - the
rest is history. Sue and Lou were kind enough to invite me to a dog show so we could meet
the dogs. They took time out of their entire afternoon to answer my questions and
watch their dogs interact. After holding Charley, I was sold - hook, line and sinker. Well, now
it's 3 weeks later and little Charley is 3 months old. He truly is a quality, top notch Boston
Terrier. He is absolutely stunning to look at, and his temperament is to die for...he is very
social and loves being the center of attention, which is good because everyone, and I mean
EVERYONE that meets him falls in love with him and asks where we got him from. I'm proud to
say we were able to get him from the LeCalsey's. They stand behind their dogs with controlled
breeding and adherence to health testing. I will ALWAYS be comfortable to serve as a
reference to any potential buyers that they have in the future. I just can't say enough about
them, or the amazing dog I now have because of them."
Alright well I've talked your ear off enough in this email. Write back when you can.
I hope you're having a great week.
Jessica.

Hi Sue!
Sorry about dropping the ball with your Patella Exam Form. I dropped it off at JJ's vet's office this
afternoon, so hopefully I will have it filled out and mailed to you asap.
JJ and I have been busy seeing friends and family now that the summer is ending. My dad just celebrated his
50th birthday last weekend, so we were down in southeast Minnesota, enjoying the beautiful country side.
I've attached some recent pictures of him for you ... I can't remember the last time I sent you some updated
pictures. I just got a new digital camera for my birthday, so expect more photo's in the near future
(if you don't mind...I don't want to clog your email account with JJ pictures).
Give my best to Lou, and good luck with the new babies. I think it would be so much fun to watch a
little Boston grow and mature from day 1 of it's life. I'm happy your breeding! I think if everyone had one
of your dogs, the world would be a better place.
Jessica
