Hello Sue,
We drove home only for a short time in the snow, but it was very hard to see the road. Fancy was nervous
yesterday but very well behaved. She only barked when she saw her reflection and the cat. She is much better
today and chewing on bones, toys, and she ate up her breakfast right away. She learned where the “out” door is
and learning her way around.

We’re pretty tired today, but Fancy is well rested. This morning she ran around the yard in the snow like crazy.
Since she likes snow, it was her lucky day because we had several inches of fresh snow (but its not too cold 30’s).

We are getting along great so far, she seems comfortable and is getting belly rubs! We’re in my TV room. See
attached.

For the cat, we had Zak in the bathroom while Fancy ran around, then Fancy in the crate and Zak walked around
it while Fancy barked at him. We’ll do this for a bit until is no big deal. But Zak was not scared, he was curious to
meet the new creature. So I’ll let you know the progress.

Thanks for all the supplies! She was playing with the flower toy this morning and we played tug of war.  I’ll let you
know more as the week goes on and we’re more settled in and really have fun!

Thanks again! More later....

Hello Sue,

Everything is going great! We are getting along really well. Fancy is adjusting very well each day becoming more
familiar with things. We worked on leash training every day this week and I am pleased to announce she went out
on a walk yesterday and today. This is good for us as it will make it easier for her to get exposure to more people
and dogs. She is a little shy around new people, but I think going to obedience classes will help. I am trying to
register for one for next week.

She and the cat are indifferent to one another, but again, I think with time this will change since they are not
fighting or doing anything like that. Not having any concerns here.

Fancy is always around us and getting lots of attention! She is a snuggle bunny and we think she is adorable. We
love her and having her here. See attached.

Let me know what you think,

Lisa

Hello Sue,
Hope all is well and the new puppies are also doing well!

After painting our garage and gardening/yard work I am finally ready to write and tell you about Fancy. She has
been doing great in her obedience classes and walking on a leash. She is learning to heel and doing very well so
far. She loves to hang out in the backyard and to lay in the grass and gets excited to go on walks now. She has
made a few friends of dogs she frequently sees walking too.

We are very happy to have her here and she is sweet, funny, and very well behaved!  Also, we feel so good about
getting her from you, knowing that she had started out right and is very healthy and happy from the beginning. I
have attached some new photos taken over the last few weeks.

Take care and see you soon!

Hello Sue,
How are you? We’ve been doing great over here. Fancy is loving her backyard. I attached some pics for you. Two
are of her and a new friend, Linus, a french bulldog. They ran around the backyard shoulder to shoulder. We
noticed she was faster than him and would often run to one end of the yard and wait for him to reach her. We brag
she is the fastest dog in town!

I know we mentioned we finished level 2 obedience. Next week we are starting level 3 and want to go to Sept agility
classes. I can’t wait. I bet Fancy loves it. On her walks, she has been sniffing most strangers that try to pet her.
This is an improvement because she wouldn’t let anyone pet her who she didn’t know. She has a small group of
people she is used to seeing over here and she greets them like a crazy dog. She will even obey them testing her
on commands. So we are beaming because everyone thinks she is dog genius...

Well enough bragging. Next weekend there is a dog event called “Paws on Grand” taking place on Grand Ave in St
Paul. All day businesses let dogs in and have specials. We’re going to check it out and go on an adventure.

Last weekend we washed Fancy outside the old fashioned way- with a hose. It was very warm outside. After the
bath, of course, she rolled around in the yard and we had to do it again! What a stinker!

Hope all is well.
Take care,
Lisa
