Welcome to the home of Achates Boston Terriers! I help with the c-section that brings our puppies into this world. And I have their nursery set up in our walk-out level where I sleep beside them for the first month of their lives. This ensures that their Dam takes the very best care of them and they become accustomed to my touch and affection from day one. We built our home in 1996 on 12+ acres of land overlooking the city of Green Bay, WI. I designed our home with the comfort of our companions in mind. Our deluxe kennel is located beside our family room. It has a ceramic tile floor and walls. The floor has Wirsbo In-Floor heat to maintin a constant temperature of 70 degrees. They have air conditioning, a Hunter ceiling fan, elevated bath tub and piped in music. I have several indoor/outdoor runs which my Dobermans use. I have not taught the Bostons how to use the two way doors, but several have figured it out on their own. Each run is 6' X 8" and has a custom made bed and blankets, feeding station and their supply of bones and toys. Of course the only time the kids are in their kennel is if I have to leave the house to run an errand or to sleep at night. We take 5 to bed with us at night so each dog gets to sleep in bed with us every other night. Otherwise everyone gets along very well with each other and the Bostons are all loose with me 24/7. Our Bostons are raised with love and affection!

We have 2 very large areas fenced in for the dogs to safely play in. We also have a smaller fenced area we either use for babies or geractric dogs.

View of the rear of our home from the Guest House. The outdoor runs are situated under the deck so they have shade in the summer and it helps to keep the snow off the runs in the winter. The runs also have in floor heat so no ice can build up on them in the winter.
