Here are some photos of the Poochpads I wear on the boys when we
have girls in-season.  That way if they are tempted to lift their leg on
the furniture, I don't have hours of work cleaning upholstery.
TJ is my model in this photo.  As you can see, we have a regular harness on him.  On
the loop where you would normally attach a leash, I have a piece of Velcro attached so
we can hold the Poochpads on, without them slipping off.  I've never had one of the boys
get these off not even by rubbing up under the pool table.  It takes the boys a little while
to get used to wearing these, but now they play and ignore them being on.
Another side shot of TJ with his Poochpads on.
In this shot I showed you the configuration of each separate piece.  The black Velcro sewn
to a piece of Black belting like is used making leashes.  You need to have the longer piece
be about 6" long.  To the top end of that you add another shorter piece that is about 2 1/2"
long but sewn on in reverse.  You need to slide this through the silver leash ring and self
fasten it to the other part of the Velcro.  Then attach it to the belly band.
Then for the girls........
Here is a shot of the harness with the girls Seasonals attached.  I make the same sort of
attachment for the boys but this one is "Y" shaped.  The tail of the "Y" is attached with
Velcro through the leash clasp.  Then the "V" part is attached and each arm is attached to
the pants as it has Velcro on the end of the tails.  I use a disposable pad inside the
seasonal pants made by Always with Wings.  I use the Ultra Thin type that has self
adhesive on it.  This way the girls can play with the other girls for a while and not have to
spend 3 weeks confined to a crate or kennel area when in season.  The self-adhesive pads
stay in place very well.  I've never had the girls pull one out of the pants while wearing it.
Gracie is my model today as she just
happens to be in-season.
By using this harness and Velcro attachment to keep the Seasonal Panties
on, you do not have to make the panties too tight around their waist.  Keeping
it a little looser seems to make them more comfortable with it on.
If you still have questions on how to make this Velcro attachment, just contact me with your phone
number and I'll call you and walk you through making it on the phone.
