Hi!  My name is Jolie.  Ch Bleugras Jolie of Buena Vista, CGC, ROM*.
My Mom and Dad bought me back in the Fall of 2000 and that started our love affair.  I moved into their home filled with
Doberman Pinschers .....and took over.  I hope you enjoy my Web Site as I've tried to fill it with useful
information about our wonderful Breed.      Please read on.................

wonderful loving home you provided to Jolie & Sophia during their stay with you and the great care you gave them.   You took us under your wing
and helped us to get our breeding program off the ground.   Thank you for having enough faith in us to allow us to breed Jolie, Sophia, Diana &
Spirit to your boys: Teddy, Keeper, Stormy, Gater, Murphy, Tucker, and Indy.  And for allowing us to have Destiny and Cassie.

I'd also like to thank Beccy Smith for allowing us to breed Spirit to Kip twice, both times resulting in a single puppy,
Kendall  (11 points including 1 Major) and baby Emily .
And Richard and Jane Craven for allowing us to breed Destiny to Charlie of which we kept Curly, who became our 13th Home Bred Champion.
And to Marion Berger for allowing us to breed Destiny to William.  4 bitches born on 9/30/08 of which 3 will be shown.

Now that George became a Champion, his Dam Sophia, Ch Achates Critics Choice, received the title of
Register of Merit, (ROM) from the Boston Terrier Club of America.  Click here to read all about what your ROM  title means.  
Now that  Andrew is a Champion, his Dam Jolie,Ch Bleugras Jolie of Buena Vista, CGC, ROM who has already received her ROM
title, will receive a" * " after that title.  That stands for 3 additional puppies of hers becoming champions for a final total now of 6.

We believe in Health Testing!  Please read why..........
Our Boston Terriers have all passed their Health Testing and the results are registered with OFA and CHIC.
We are very proud that we are on our 3rd generation of everyone testing "Clear" for BAER, CERF and Patella Luxation.

We received results back from having DNA testing for Juvenile Hereditary Cataracts.  Jolie, Sophia, Diana, Spirit and Destiny were tested
and they are not carriers of this dreadful disease. This test is only performed by The Animal Health Trust in England.
Kathryn Graves, Phd is working on getting a lab here in the US approved.  More details to follow as soon as this is accomplished.

Nivie won Best Of Opposite Sex at Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show in 2006!    
Nivie finished 2005 as the #5 Boston and in 2006 as the #6 Boston in the US.

Nivie had 2 boys and 2 girls born on 11-15-07.  Cassie arrived in Wisconsin on 1-24-08 with Sarah Kennedy.  And baby Hollis
went back home with Sarah to live with Vicki & Kip.   Her registered name is Kennedy's Holiday At Achates.  
Cassie's litter mates: Lincoln and Nell are both Champions, with Able almost finished as well.

Kendall won Reserve Winners Bitch at our Boston Terrier Club Of America National Show held on May 21st and
Best Puppy on May 22nd, 2008 under Judge Michelle Billings.
Please beware of unscruplous breeders who try to sell off colored Bostons.  There are many breeders trying to sell Cream,
Blue and Red or Brown colored Bostons which are not recognized colors by the Boston Terrier Club of America or the
American Kennel Club.  They may say they are RARE and try to charge rates in the area of $1,500 or more.
Please do not support their efforts as they do not have the best interest of the Boston Terrier in their hearts.  
They are breeding against the standard to fulfill their own greedy desires.

Sophia Morgan LeCalsey.  
Sophia was 7 lbs 15 oz at birth and 20 1/2 inches long  
and is the daughter of my son Paul and his wife Paula.  
This is their first child after being married almost 7 years.

We now have 4 granddaughters and 4 grandsons.

Diana had her babies on 8-16-08 at 12:45 PM.  We have 2 boys that weighed in at 8.95 and 9.3 oz.

Destiny had her 4 babies on Sept 30th, 2008 at 5:00 pm by c-section and they are all girls.

Here are a few new photos of all the puppies but not sorted by litter.

I was diagnosed with Breast Cancer on 8/27/08.  I had a Lumpectomy on 9/15/08.  They did not obtain clear margins the first time so they re-excised more tissue on
10/14/08.  I then had Mammosite Balloon High Dose Radiation Treatments.  On 12/1/08 I had my first follow up Mammogram and everything was clear.  They started
me on a medication called Arimidex to prevent my hormones from telling any remaining cancer cells to multiply because my mass was Hormone Receptor
Positive.  This medication brought me out of Menopause and I just had to have a total hysterectomy on 3/16/09.  
Even after all this, I am keeping a positive attitude and I'm doing great.   I apologize for my Web Site not being totally up to date.

Dog, Best Of Winners and Best of Breed at his first shows on 4/18 & 19, 2009.  They were both 3 point Major shows.
Bear was also Winners Dog and BOS on 5-1-09 at the Badger Kennel Club show under Judge Rick Glendinning.
